Greetings 2011.
Apologies for the lack of website-based updates. You’ll find that we’re far more proactive via the internet portal known as Facebook. Get over to www.facebook.com/wearedrawings and have yourself a click on ‘like’. This way you’ll hear about all Drawings based news first! Ya get me?
I’m writing this as I’m sat on the floor of the Drawings ‘media suite’, which is a small room with a computer and a microphone in. We are currently recording backing vocals for the debut Drawings long player release. Remember how that changed the face of music forever? Read this again in a year and you’ll know what I’m talking about!! Aaron says some f’ing funny things when he gets the words wrong, although they are far too top shelf to post on the internet. There’s only fluffy bunnies and finger painting on the internet right? Good, thought so.
Anyway I’m sure we’ll have some updates about the album and possible other releases soon. Keep your eyes physically glued to here and your Facebook feeds.
We’re currently booking up a bunch of shows (which in England are called ‘gigs’) for February and March so look out for us on the road soon. Again, details on that will hit your brains via my fingers, electricity, binary, Facebook, binary, screen, photons and optical nerves……. shortly.

Here is the Drawings Tumblr. I intend to keep this updated pretty frequently with blogs, photos, poems, basically anything I think is interesting. You get the idea.
We have a rehearsal room booked Wednesday night in order to jam over some new tunes. It seems like we have so many now, which is a good feeling to have I guess. They are more pop and also more rock, whilst segueing into twinkly territory every now and then too.
